MJ’s Photography is a newborn portrait photographer located near Memorial. MJ serves all of the surrounding areas for your newborn picture needs including Houston, Cypress, Fulshear, Katy, Conroe, The Woodlands, Memorial, and Sugar Land.

I love posed newborn photography. Capturing every little detail of newborns is an amazing job. Look how perfect her little newborn lips are!

Before moving to Fulshear, we lived in East Texas and enjoyed newborn photography there as well! I still get to see some of my amazing clients from there.

What makes me a newborn photographer?

Being a newborn photographer is more than just owning a camera and a newborn wrap. It is investing lots of time and patience with each little babe. I always want to capture every detail of them. I do not time my newborn sessions for this reason. I want to make sure that every mommy goes home with an amazing newborn gallery that is full!

Each newborn session is different from the last. Every momma gets their input of favorite colors and poses. Doing newborn photography in the Houston area, means I get to do outdoor newborn portraits a good part of the year! Look at this beautiful baby.

There is so much beauty around us! Just a simple flower bed makes for the most gorgeous newborn portraits! Outdoor newborn pictures is just another reason why I love being a Memorial Texas newborn photographer.

Newborn photography is my muse. I am trained in capturing newborns safely and have taken classes in order to master my art. I specialize in newborn and maternity portraits and am located in Central Texas. I service most of Central Texas including Katy, Weston Lakes, Cypress, Houston, The Woodlands, and Spring.

All of my newborn sessions are not timed. I would never send home a baby without capturing them fully. Each baby is different and needs a different time limit. From their tiny toes to their beautiful eyelashes, everything will be captured beautifully.

Every newborn gallery is different. This means that different wraps, props, and backdrops are used for every baby in a different way. Your baby is unique and so should their session!

Parents and siblings are ALWAYS welcome. There is not a price difference for everyone to be included. What about grandmas and grandpas? Um yes! Who would ever turn them away? Bring them! Your newborn will look back at these portraits for years to come, they should include everyone you want.

My newborn galleries are always large. I can’t help myself. I capture every little detail and do a variety of setups. They are only this little once. Their newborn session can never be redone. It should be perfect.

When your little girl is turning the big FIVE and just wants to be a Disney princess at Starbucks…that is exactly what you do.

Annie Banannie custom made her yellow dress and it was inspired by Belle! She did a fantastic job and truly made her day special.

We arrived at Starbucks donned in our princess gear with our best friend as Elsa.

While waiting in line we got lots of looks and compliments on our gown. She was loving the attention and made sure to tell everyone that it was her birthday and she was 5!

Cake pop and Strawberry Frappuccino for Belle and Caramel Frappuccino and a cake pop for Elsa. This made the two little princesses day!

Sugarland outdoor maternity photographer – MJ’s Photography

MJ’s Photography and Magnolia Studio‘s (check her out for wedding photography) joined together for an amazing styled session. We had one maternity model and one bride for our styled shoot together.

This gorgeous bride happened to bring her fur baby along and of course he had to be included.

We wanted a different scenery than we typically get around here, so we traveled a little over an hour for Lake Caddo! It’s mossy waters gave the perfect landscape for our session.

We had some amazing vendors for our maternity/bridal styled session. They were so perfect in every way.

Did both of our models hair and makeup! They both looked stunning.

Chere Hall was the artist behind both girls makeup.

Hannah King was the artist behind the maternity models hair!

Brittney Tullar was the artist behind the brides hair.

Abby Bella Couture supplied her gorgeous green maternity gown.

Caddo Lake inn let us use their gorgeous property! Isn’t it perfect?

Photographers Sugar Land Texas – MJ’s Photography featuring a family in the Sunflowers

Texas has the most gorgeous sunflowers! We traveled a little over an hour to a small town that has rows of them! It was a very small town, you can’t miss it. We parked on the side of the road and jumped right in. They are about an hour out of Houston/Katy!

We did some mommy and me portraits of Ashley and Evelyn in the sunflowers and they turned out amazing! No posing, just playing with mommy.

Sunset is the perfect time for portraits. It gives that hazy, warm, even lighting for images. Add in the sunflowers and it is so golden! I love the look of these.

I love Ashley’s choice for outfits. The red pops out from the yellow sunflowers and looks fantastic. They look gorgeous!

I love sessions with mothers and their babies. The connection is so beautiful and the love just pours out. Look how sweet Evelyn looks with her mommy. It was hot in Texas, but they were amazing.

Sweet Oaklyn was just about 3 weeks old for her newborn session! I flew to Chicago, IL from Central Texas to take her newborn portraits!

Because of traveling, most of her session was done outdoors. I must say, after doing her session, I am obsessed with outdoor newborn pictures! Look how gorgeous she is in the flowers.

Her precious, new features are perfect.

Illinois has gorgeous blooms so I found myself going all over the yard. From white, to red, purple, and mauve! Look how these red flowers make her images pop!

Here are some gorgeous purple flowers right in the flower bed outside. Look at her tiny fingers with the little lamb.

Earlier that day I had seen a vacant field of beautiful pink wildflowers and just knew I had to get a shot of her in them. Isn’t she perfect?

I took a few indoors. Especially to capture those tiny toes! Newborn toes are so precious.

Look at little Oaklyn in the bear bonnet. What is cuter than a baby in a bear hat? Nothing. And those lips!

I love this mauve bonnet on Oaklyn with the white flowers! Her skin tone looks perfect with it.

Savannah travled 4 hours for her newborn session and we started as soon as she came out of the car! She did fantastic, especially for just traveling that far!

We went through a variety of setups for her newborn session. Isn’t she the cutest with this little bear?

Of course we had to put her in pink.

I found this tiny bed at an antique store and was thrilled to use it for Savannah’s newborn session in Fulshear newborn portrait, Texas.
