“As creators of eternal memories, we wish that our photographs would come alive outside of our computers, which is why we have searched for the right way our photographs can enrich our homes. We have developed unique and natural wood products that will make your photographs glow.”

“All products have an organic, natural, vintage hint and are made with a lot of love and a great deal of patience.”

Here is one Imported wood block option – the 5×7 duo featuring a birth announcement! I adore these in every way. When someone walks into your home, they will stop and look at your portraits.

These are a group of ovals! Don’t they look perfect in the entry way? Such a unique way to show off your gorgeous family pictures?

Here is a look at the blocks up close. The rounded, smooth edges really add to the over all organic look to the wooden blocks. Their are tiny holes on the back that make displaying your collage on the wall easy.

Homecoming photographer – Houston family photographer The Patricks

Houston family photographer Homecoming photographer – The Patricks

Being a Homecoming photographer is one of the most amazing jobs in the world. You get to see a family become whole again. 9 months to a year is a long time to be away from each other. It’s so important to capture those first moments back together. Many tears are shed and you want to remember every part of that day. Getting to meet the family beforehand, before their soldier comes back is so important. It truly tells their story of the day.

Here is a little caption of their story!

Mom and dad are both in the military and daddy was the one that was deployed.

Sweet Nora was born while daddy was deployed. He finally got to meet his sweet baby girl for the very first time! It was the sweetest thing to witness and I was honored to be able to capture it.

Here is when he got to hold Nora for the very first time. I definitely cried!

Nate was so excited to get his daddy back. His eyes just lit up as soon as he saw his dad!

The Patrick’s story was so amazing to capture. Having a baby while your husband is away has to be one of the hardest things a mother will ever do. She is so strong! I am so glad that she chose to have her story photographed and capture those first moments.

Here is some selected favorites from their Homecoming story.

Traveling throughout Europe-Houston Couple Photographer

Houston Couple Photographer

Every couple of years my husband and I decide to travel. Most of the time it is throughout Europe, this time was no different, but of course we traveled to different places.

We started our trip by flying to London. We stayed 3 nights total. It was everything I imagined. Beautiful city! If you ever have the chance to go, do! Of course the first thing you notice is the cars traveling on the opposite side of the road and the vehicles have the steering wheel on the opposite side as well. Every time we crossed the street, I was so confused!

We visited some amazing sites while we were there. The Tower of London was an all day affair. It was fantastic. In the states, we don’t have things that date back that far, so it is always amazing to see them in person. It dates back to to 1078AD. Insane! It was used as a prison for a while and you could see the markings people left while being detained. Prayers, pleads, confessions of innocence, you name it.

Here is an picture I took just as the sun had set.

Here is one of the torture methods they used at the Tower of London. It was a stretcher…

Ravens are seen all throughout the Tower of London. They are not afraid and come quite close. Their presence is traditionally believed to protect the crown and the tower; a superstition holds that “if the Tower of London ravens are lost or fly away, the Crown will fall and Britain with it”.

We also walked around the city streets in London. Westminster is a popular place to go. It is known as the Parliament of the UK. Of course it also has Buckingham palace, where the royal family lives! I didn’t take any professional images, but we of course snapped some selfies 😉

I forced my husband to be my “model” so that I could capture this gorgeous sunset on the London streets! <3

Next we fly to Amsterdam, Holland. The Netherlands captital!
