This family was so perfect for their family portraits! Little Grayden turned 1 year old and did so amazing for his family portraits.

He loved being with his big brothers! Teen brothers and a one year old brother, momma has her hands full. I love this family portrait.

Family portraits are great at every age, but I really love family pictures with a one year old. They can’t run away to fast, but always give the cutest expressions.

Which is your favorite?

I think this dress is the perfect neutral vintage dress. The built in petticoat just makes it perfect and gives it the right amount of “poof.”

Photographing a two year old is a challenge, but the results are the most rewarding. You have to figure out what makes them happy. Each child is different, so it is my job to figure out how to make them come out of their shell in the small amount of time I have.

The Heights Photographer – Houston photographer

MJ’s Photography is The Heights Photographer – Houston photographer. MJ services the Katy, Fulshear, Conroe, The Woodlands, Cypress, The Heights, The Galleria, downtown Houston, and more.

Brittany and her family drove over 3 hours from Fort Hood to come to Houston for her maternity portraits.

When clients drive this far for my portraits, it is such an honor. It is also very nerve wrecking ha ha! There is no reshoot option for these sessions! But I think…no I know…we NAILED these!

I also got to take Brittany’s maternity portraits when she was pregnant with Lorelai and of course Lorelai’s newborn portraits. This round, she is having a little boy! I cannot wait to meet him.

Lorelai was perfect during mommy and me portraits and family pictures. She had the cutest smile and the sweetest poses. Look at this one? Mom wants this one blown up!

MJ’s Photography is a Houston high end photographer.

MJ is a portrait photographer who lives in Fulshear, Texas, right outside of Houston. I specialize in maternity, newborn, and family portraits. I service most of Fort Bend; Cypress, Katy, Fulshear , Conroe, Sugar Land, Pear land, The Woodlands, Spring, and Houston areas.

I started my business, MJ’s Photography, in 2014. My love for my daughter Emma Lyn, ignited my passion for photography. Just the same as I treat her photos, with passion, love, and creativity, I strive to bring out each person’s unique identity and capture their true personality. These encounters drive my passion for photography and challenge me to use my tools in new ways. This is my artistic expression.

This is not a job for me. I love outdoor family and maternity portrait sessions, and in-studio newborn sessions. I want to create that perfect image for my clients to hang on their wall for years to come. Their happiness creates my happiness. Sweet Karmyn during her newborn session. Mommy drove her and her family all the way from Killeen to my studio in Fulshear. Over 3 hours, thats dedication!

Isn’t she a doll? I love her in this color. Of course we had to include daddy’s army uniform. I love Army babies! They are so fun to capture.

I love posed newborn photography. Capturing every little detail of newborns is an amazing job. Look how perfect her little newborn lips are!

Before moving to Fulshear, we lived in East Texas and enjoyed newborn photography there as well! I still get to see some of my amazing clients from there.

What makes me a newborn photographer?

Being a newborn photographer is more than just owning a camera and a newborn wrap. It is investing lots of time and patience with each little babe. I always want to capture every detail of them. I do not time my newborn sessions for this reason. I want to make sure that every mommy goes home with an amazing newborn gallery that is full!

Each newborn session is different from the last. Every momma gets their input of favorite colors and poses. Doing newborn photography in the Houston area, means I get to do outdoor newborn portraits a good part of the year! Look at this beautiful baby.
