Sweet Sebastian came into MJ’s Photography studio when he was just 10 days old. He was such an amazing little sleeper for me. He curled up into the sweetest little poses. His little smile just made my day. Mom and dad went home with a canvas of that sweet smile. That is such a treasure to look at everyday!

He had the cutest little cheeks! They were just so squishy. He loved having his hands right up by his face, which was fine with me they made the poses even sweeter.

Sebastian looked so handsome in blue. He curled up into the newborn basket and gave me the sweetest little smirk. I’m pretty sure he is going to be tall, look at his long feet. I couldn’t get them.

Daddy is a Arkansas Razorback fan so including this onsie in his newborn portraits was a must. When he gave me another little smile, I just knew daddy was going to love this one!

Sebastian all swaddled up with a little bear hat. He has the most gorgeous lips that I have seen on a newborn.

The taco pose is always my favorite newborn pose. His tiny fingers, toes, and lips all in one close up image.

Look at these sweet little back rolls! Swoon! Why is that rolls just look so cute on babies? I am in love. That little lip pucker just makes me giggle. I love how his little personality shines through in these portraits!

Miss Aubree was a doll during her newborn portrait session with MJ’s Photography. She was so full of beautiful smiles. Aubree had a head full of dark hair and the sweetest little dimple every time that she would smile. Her family traveled a couple of hours for her newborn session and I am so glad they did!

She rocked her “potato sack” pose. (seen above) That pose is just my favorite because it lets you see their little faces in all their glory!

Big sister Ansley is such a happy and easy-going toddler. She was full of smiles, laughter, and fun. She adores her baby sister and was very eager to hold her for some sibling photos. Sibling photos are not always quite this easy with young toddlers.

We did some family photos before we started Aubree’s newborn session. We were tucked away in the shade in a nice little field.

After we did some outdoor family portraits, we moved inside for some sibling photos as well as Aubree’s newborn portraits. Ansley and Aubree did so well! I just adore this sweet moment.

Aubree went into each pose and even smiled for quite a few. Doesn’t she look perfect in this mustard bow?

Newborn photography sugar land | MJ’s Photography

MJ’s Photography does Newborn photography sugar land that has a studio located near Katy, Texas. MJ’s Photography specializes in Newborn, Maternity, and Family portraits.

I got the pleasure of photographing Macee’s mommy’s maternity portraits, Macee’s birth, and Macee’s newborn portraits. Being able to document this amazing time in their life was truly a blessing. Macee had already changed looks from when I took her pictures during birth. They grow and they change so fast!

Her daddy is in the Army, so capturing her with her daddy in his uniform during her newborn session was necessary. I can not think of anything sweeter.

(Note- this shot was completely safe. Mom was standing right next to Macee)

Here she is all swaddled up sleeping on her daddy’s uniform. Look at that little foot print showing through the pink swaddle. <3

Macee’s mommy requested a portrait of Macee wearing her (Macee’s mom) outfit that she wore home from the hospital. I’ve never had this request before and it turned out amazing! It was still in perfect condition.

Macee shared so many smiles during her newborn portrait session. She has this adorable dimple that just makes you smile every time she smiles.

Fulshear newborn portraits| MJ

MJ creates beautiful Fulshear newborn portraits and is located in Katy Texas.

I was so excited when I met with Teddy’s mom before his session. She brought big brother along to the studio and I got to know him a little bit before hand. They are a military family and Dad would be getting out the week Teddy was born! Talk about stressful. Changing jobs, moving states, all with a newborn and a toddler! Whew! We had a week to fit him in, and I am so glad we were able to do it!

Of course since his name is Teddy, we had to do a setup in his newborn session with a teddy bear. Oh and dress him like a Teddy bear too! Look at those precious newborn lips!

Newborn sessions are my calling. When I get to meet these sweet babies, my mind and my heart work together to make each session unique and tailored to each baby.

Since Daddy was getting out of the military and big brother had his newborn session with Daddy’s gear, we had to do a military setup for Teddy. It’s hard to imagine that one day Teddy’s feet will fit into those boots.

Sometimes sibling shots are the hardest. When Big brothers are toddlers, they are not quite sure what to expect with all of the changes. It took some time…and some goldfish, but we got it!

Do you know the feeling when you see your newborn baby smile? I get that same feeling when they smile on camera. Heart melted!

When Nari’s parents came to me about their Maternity and Newborn sessions, I knew this was going to be special. They had lost Nari’s big sister, Aaliyah Destiny, and I wanted her to be a part of the sessions.

This was two of my favorites from Cha Ann’s Rainbow Maternity session. This was my first Rainbow Maternity session and I wanted it to be very special for her.

When Nari was born they wanted a rainbow themed setup for her newborn session. We wanted to include Aaliyah’s ultrasound photo in it to make it extra special.

Nari slept so perfectly during her newborn session. She was a dream to work with. We went through a range of setups and she was just content.

How sweet is she swaddled up in pink? She has such beautiful skin!

Of course since she was so sleepy I had to do the taco pose with her! You guys know it is my favorite! She nailed it! I just love how easy they can fold up.

When his mommy called inquiring about his newborn sessions, I was so excited! She had already bought a “Where the Wild Things Are” crown! Themes are so much fun, especially this one! We wanted to do something a little different than the normal set up, here is what we came up with!

Daniel had so much hair! I absolutely love photographing newborns with lots of hair, its just the cutest! He was such a sleepy baby, the poses were endless with him. My favorite pose is the Taco Pose (I’m not sure who comes up with the newborn pose terms, it is definitely odd!) Below is an example of what I am talking about. Isn’t he the cutest?

Newborn prop clothes are an addiction. I can’t help myself, I just adore them! I put him in some gray mohair pants and bonnet and we just swooned! But how could you not? He’s perfect!

Sometimes simple is best for newborns, minimal props and just letting them be. Daniel owned this image with his adorable smirk and those gorgeous lips!

I always and I mean always have to do a swaddled up pose! It just reminds you of how small they are later on. Years from now, when you look back at your newborn’s portraits, you will truly see how much they have changed and how small they were! Newborn portraits are so important, they are typically done in the first 2 weeks!

Another shot I always get are their toes. I mean what is cuter than baby toes? Nothing! Gah they get me every time. So perfect and sweet.

Sugarland best newborn photographer

MJ’s Photography | Sugarland best newborn photographer. MJ services the Houston and Sugarland areas for all your newborn and maternity needs.

I first met the Beck family when their oldest baby girl was just 8 months old! Mommy booked a “Mommy and Me ” portrait session and they turned out beautiful! She is now almost two and they have welcomed baby Brayden into their family! I just love getting to photograph family’s as they grow.

How perfect does he look as a squishy little bear at his newborn session? He was knocked out at this point in his newborn session, he didn’t even make a peep! I can’t even handle it! (Don’t worry this is a composite, he was very safe during the entire shot) (Hat made by Handmade by Lori)

He was born a couple days after Independence day, so a patriotic setup was necessary! Mommy came prepared with the red, white, and blue stars and baby Brayden allowed me to pose him up in just the sweetest little curl.

He was so sweet during his newborn session. I was so excited to put him into one of my new little boy outfits from Kissing Frog. It fit him perfectly! And just look at those gorgeous little eyelashes! <3

Look at those little bitty feet! Baby feet and baby toes are oh so sweet. I just love this newborn pose because it shows off his little toes, little fingers, and of course his face!

Joseph Daniel-17 days old MJ’s Photography

Meet Joe! He was such a joy to photograph. He decided to come quite a bit early, two days before his Mommy’s Maternity session to be exact! He spent around a week in the NICU. He was 17 days old when we did his newborn session. His parents say that he is pretty alert for a newborn, but he just couldn’t resist with my tactics and was on his best behavior.

Since he was sleeping so well, we posed him in a basket for his newborn portraits. I think three Joe’s could have fit inside the basket, he wasn’t quite 5 pounds yet! But with lots of fluff, he snuggled right up! I think he looks so handsome in blue.

I can’t resist newborn baby boys in a bonnet! Baby girls get the head pieces and tie backs, and little boys look adorable in knitted bonnets! I love how Joe’s little legs just curl up to his stomach!

How sweet is he in these teeny tiny overalls? I had purchased a new outfit for him to use, but he was just to teeny for it!

Mommy ordered her own special outfit for Joe’s Newborn Session! I was so excited to capture this adorable set up! Ninja Turtles!

Look how sweet his hands are in this Ninja Turtle Portrait! Mommy and Daddy chose the top image to display on a unique wooden block for their wall! I cannot wait to see how their collage turns out! How could it not be great with how perfect this little guy is?

MJ does Family photography Houston texas and she truly loves capturing the precious memories of families.

The Skala family originally inquired about getting maternity portraits done with their 15 month old daughter, Vera. She also revealed that they were expecting twins, but were waiting to find out the gender of the two babies at birth! We set up a date and two days before their appointment, she went into labor. She delivered two beautiful baby girls! Babies do not wait for anything, not even for their mother to get her Maternity portraits taken.

We switched her maternity portrait session to a family portrait session and I was so excited to capture this truly amazing part of their lives. Three baby girls under the age of two!

During their family portraits, all three baby girls did amazing. Mom and Dad were so proud of all three of their baby girls and it beamed through their faces. They sure do have a lot to be proud of!

Capturing the true personalities of families is what I strive for. Anyone can press a button on a camera, but it takes a true professional to make the images come alive. To capture love, happiness, and images that deserve to hang for everyone to see. That is my goal for every family portrait session and why I take pride in being a family photographer! Of course the newborn photographer side of me just had to capture some of just the twins!

Weston lakes newborn photography

When I first met this amazing family back in October, they were a family of three and had just found out that they were expecting a new bundle of joy. Daddy was deploying within a week and half and they were moving back home for a while.

Fast forward to now, daddy got to come home and see Oliver for around 30 hours before he had to go back. I was overjoyed when she reached out to me to see if I was available to take Oliver’s newborn portraits.
