Kaelie and Garrett are expecting their first baby. Kash will be born in the next couple months and I cannot wait to meet him.
Kaelie selected Synergy park for her maternity portrait location and it turned out beautiful! Synergy park is full of pine trees and gorgeous water. This was my first time shooting there and it is a favorite.
Kaelie chose a Burgundy gown for one of her gown choices and it contrasted perfectly with the pine trees. Look at how gorgeous she is.

As we walked around the lake we saw the most adorable baby ducks. Of course I wanted to get some images of the baby ducks in the background. Look how cute they are?

Daddy is a heart surgeon, which is so awesome. This sweet little heart stuffy by JLScreations was perfect for Charlotte to hold.
It’s fall…so of course a setup with some fall decor, aka pumpkins, was in store! Daddy wasn’t able to be at the individual portion of her session, but he fell in love with the pumpkin setup!

Annie Banannie custom made her yellow dress and it was inspired by Belle! She did a fantastic job and truly made her day special.
We arrived at Starbucks donned in our princess gear with our best friend as Elsa.

While waiting in line we got lots of looks and compliments on our gown. She was loving the attention and made sure to tell everyone that it was her birthday and she was 5!
Cake pop and Strawberry Frappuccino for Belle and Caramel Frappuccino and a cake pop for Elsa. This made the two little princesses day!

Photographers Sugar Land Texas – MJ’s Photography featuring a family in the Sunflowers
Texas has the most gorgeous sunflowers! We traveled a little over an hour to a small town that has rows of them! It was a very small town, you can’t miss it. We parked on the side of the road and jumped right in. They are about an hour out of Houston/Katy!
We did some mommy and me portraits of Ashley and Evelyn in the sunflowers and they turned out amazing! No posing, just playing with mommy.
Sunset is the perfect time for portraits. It gives that hazy, warm, even lighting for images. Add in the sunflowers and it is so golden! I love the look of these.

I love Ashley’s choice for outfits. The red pops out from the yellow sunflowers and looks fantastic. They look gorgeous!

Sweet Oaklyn was just about 3 weeks old for her newborn session! I flew to Chicago, IL from Central Texas to take her newborn portraits!
Because of traveling, most of her session was done outdoors. I must say, after doing her session, I am obsessed with outdoor newborn pictures! Look how gorgeous she is in the flowers.

Illinois has gorgeous blooms so I found myself going all over the yard. From white, to red, purple, and mauve! Look how these red flowers make her images pop!

I cannot say enough amazing things about MJ and her team! We just welcomed our precious daughter Ava in October. Since this was our first baby, we wanted to make sure that we captured this special time in our lives. The minute I initially spoke to MJ on the phone, I knew she was the perfect fit for what we were looking for in a photographer. She is so genuine and engaging and I can tell that this is her passion and you can clearly see that passion captured in our photos. The entire process from beginning to end was an absolute dream. Her and her MUA, Avesta, made the effort to make sure our pictures came out exactly how we wanted them. Not to mention MJ was so patient with us as we struggled to narrow down our choices for our maternity and our newborn sessions. I am not kidding when I say that was the HARDEST part. All of them were so amazing! Once we were able to narrow it down, her and her hubby made a special house visit to help get our pictures up on the wall. Like I said, an absolute dream! When you are expecting a baby, it is such an amazing time in your life! At the time you are tired and you do not feel like yourself, but the truth is that you are amazing! You are creating something bigger than yourself, a tiny little newborn baby. That is what I love about my “job.” I get to capture these short, but amazing moments in peoples lives.
I love that I get to meet mommy’s before their little one is here. I capture them while they are carrying their precious baby. Every maternity session is different, every mommy is different, and that is what makes it so special.
Meet Allana. As you scroll these you are going to think “WOW she is gorgeous!” She most certainly is. She made pregnancy look so good. I loved capturing her carrying her princess.
Grayson was so excited to be a big brother. I’m not sure he fully understood what it entailed, but he put on a show regardless! He was quite the ham during mommy’s maternity session in Houston Texas.

I love this one of mommy and Grayson. He kept kissing her belly in the sweetest way and then running away!
We then went to another location with a field in Cypress, Texas. Grayson loved running around! Mom changed into a gown by Couture parfait and she looked gorgeous in it!

I told mommy to put on her model face and she delivered. I am in LOVE with these. She has a gorgeous baby bump!
Now on to Avery’s newborn portraits! Miss Avery decided to come early. She made her grand arrival at just 3lb! After some NICU stay, we finally got to schedule her newborn session. I was very excited to finally get to meet her.
She definitely makes the quote “Though she be small, she is mighty,” true. She took a little persuading, but we got an amazing gallery of her. With lots of patience and extra cuddles, her gallery was very full!

She was so tiny at her newborn session! She was around 5 pounds. Look how beautiful she looks in neutrals.
If you guys knew what it took to get this portrait of Avery, you wouldn’t believe it! Mommy knows and I think that makes it just that more special. Mommy wanted a naked shot and I am so glad that we got it. Right after I got this, she leaped right up!
