This family wanted their family portraits done on their property near Weston Lakes. Their driveway was gorgeous and perfect for pictures! Avesta came by to do momma’s makeup and hair and both sisters hair! It’s so nice to get all dolled up for portraits. You deserve this experience!

We did each of their little ones individually and they rocked it! Look how cute they all look.

Cruz took a little convincing, but he did amazing! Look how stunning his momma is!

Newborn portraits are my favorite. I truly love getting to capture each newborn in their unique way.

Lillian was such a sleeper during her newborn portraits. She did amazing and got the sweetest little poses.

Momma wanted to capture Lillian in a sweet pink tutu and I am in love with how it turned out.

Their first family portrait. I am so in love with how it turned out! Sweet Lillian’s little feet poking out are just the icing on the cake.

I think this one was mom and dad’s favorite! That sweet little smile just topped it off perfectly. You can already see her little personality coming out.

I am a portrait photographer who lives in Fulshear, Texas, right outside of Houston. I specialize in maternity, newborn, and family portraits. I service most of Fort Bend; Cypress, Katy, Fulshear , Conroe, Sugar Land, Pear land, The Woodlands, Spring, and Houston areas.

I started my business, MJ’s Photography, in 2014. My love for my daughter Emma Lyn, ignited my passion for photography. Just the same as I treat her photos, with passion, love, and creativity, I strive to bring out each person’s unique identity and capture their true personality. These encounters drive my passion for photography and challenge me to use my tools in new ways. This is my artistic expression.

This is not a job for me. I love outdoor family and maternity portrait sessions, and in-studio newborn sessions. I want to create that perfect image for my clients to hang on their wall for years to come. Their happiness creates my happiness. I just love him all cuddled up with this pillow.Newborns and pillows are my weakness!

Just look at those wrinkles. He was so good during his newborn portraits. His session took about an hour!

I love this potato pose. It gets their little profile just perfectly. Look at that little newborn hat. With or without hat? I couldn’t pick.

Loving him in hunter green! Look at that little smirk.

His nursery has palm leaves. So this composite was a must!

Mom and dad joined in for their very first family portrait with their baby boy. Aren’t they perfect? Look how perfect the greenery scene is. It’s perfect for his nursery.

Before moving to Fulshear, we lived in East Texas and enjoyed newborn photography there as well! I still get to see some of my amazing clients from there.

What makes me a newborn photographer?

Being a newborn photographer is more than just owning a camera and a newborn wrap. It is investing lots of time and patience with each little babe. I always want to capture every detail of them. I do not time my newborn sessions for this reason. I want to make sure that every mommy goes home with an amazing newborn gallery that is full!
