Sweet Oaklyn was just about 3 weeks old for her newborn session! I flew to Chicago, IL from Central Texas to take her newborn portraits!

Because of traveling, most of her session was done outdoors. I must say, after doing her session, I am obsessed with outdoor newborn pictures! Look how gorgeous she is in the flowers.

Her precious, new features are perfect.

Illinois has gorgeous blooms so I found myself going all over the yard. From white, to red, purple, and mauve! Look how these red flowers make her images pop!

Here are some gorgeous purple flowers right in the flower bed outside. Look at her tiny fingers with the little lamb.

Earlier that day I had seen a vacant field of beautiful pink wildflowers and just knew I had to get a shot of her in them. Isn’t she perfect?

I took a few indoors. Especially to capture those tiny toes! Newborn toes are so precious.

Look at little Oaklyn in the bear bonnet. What is cuter than a baby in a bear hat? Nothing. And those lips!

I love this mauve bonnet on Oaklyn with the white flowers! Her skin tone looks perfect with it.

Savannah travled 4 hours for her newborn session and we started as soon as she came out of the car! She did fantastic, especially for just traveling that far!

We went through a variety of setups for her newborn session. Isn’t she the cutest with this little bear?

Of course we had to put her in pink.

Her big sister Julie is 3 years old and did perfect for her sibling portion of Savannah’s newborn session. Take a look

I found this tiny bed at an antique store and was thrilled to use it for Savannah’s newborn session in Fulshear newborn portrait, Texas.

Her daddy is an EMT and a volunteer firefighter. These images are one’s that she will cherish as she grows older.

Katy maternity photographers – MJ’s Photography

Looking for a Katy maternity photographers? MJ’s photography specializes in newborn and maternity portraiture in the Central Texas/Katy and Houston areas.

Emily and Jacob were expecting their first baby in May. They are having a baby boy! I am honored to be chosen to capture this amazing time in their lives.

Emily is stunning at 36 weeks. Just look at her glow.

We did a variety of locations for Emily’s session. The first place I chose was a tree lined path that I thought went perfectly with her floral dress. This dress shows off her baby bump perfectly!

Outfit change into a blue gorgeous lace dress! The sun was backlighting them perfectly.

Since it was just them two, as we were driving to the next location, I saw a gorgeous ivy lined fence and we jumped out to capture some there. I am so glad we did, just look how they turned out.

Next we went to a forested area. Central Texas is the perfect area for this. We found some gorgeous light peeking through the forest, I love these so much!

Look at these two together. Soon there will be three. I can’t pick a favorite.

Baby photographer sugar land tx – MJ’s photography

MJ’s photography is a Baby photographer sugar land tx serving the Houston Texas and Sugar Land. areas.

This may be one of my favorite pictures that I have every taken.

Sweet Emma was a joy to photograph. She came in at 6lb and the most gorgeous set of cheeks that I have ever seen! She was even born with a tooth! I am still amazed at her tooth.

We started off with some sibling portraits of Emma and her big brother. He is 3 and was such a little ham for these. You can tell that he loves his sister. They took maybe 5 minutes to capture, he did such an amazing job.

We also did some with mommy and Emma. Isn’t she stunning?

Emma was an amazing sleeper for her newborn session. We started her off swaddled and then slowly unwrapped her as we went along.

I then put her in purple and Oh my did she look beautiful! Look at her darling cheeks.

I have a thing with newborn babies and buckets. There is something so simple and yet so sweet about it. Look at her! I am in love.

Look how tiny she looks in this bowl. Every detail is captured. Her toes, fingers, eyelashes, lips, and nose. Isn’t she beautiful?

Her feet by her ears…I cannot handle it!

Fulshear newborn photography – MJ’s photography

MJ’s photography is a Fulshear newborn photography serving the Central Texas/Houston areas. MJ specializes in newborn, maternity and family portraits.

Newborn photography is my absolute favorite. Capturing a little’s one’s very first portraits is such an honor. These can never be redone and they are only this little once. Think about that….just once. It is an investment, but you will cherish these for the rest of your life.

Emily and Jacob welcomed their first baby into this world, Charlie. They did not decide on his name until they saw his sweet face. It fits him perfectly.

We started with some family pictures with Charlie. His very first family portraits and they turned out perfectly.

Charlie gave us a sweet smile while cradled in his momma’s arms!

Then it was time for Charlie’s newborn portraits. My favorite part! Look how handsome he is in this blue newborn setup.

Neutrals are always included in my setups. These newborn setups look great displayed in any room, regardless of the decor or color choice. It also really brings out the baby in the images.

I love putting newborns in little boxes and bowls. It shows how little they truly are. Look at him in this tiny little crate.

And this tiny little bear! It’s just so sweet in his tiny sweet hands.

The Woodlands photographer – Brenna heart warrior

I met Shaina back in High school. Her mother was my basketball/volleyball coach and what a coach she was! Shaina also coached some of my volleyball summer leagues. When Shaina inquired with me about her newborn and maternity portraits, I leaped! I love that she chose me to capture these even though we are separated by about 4 hours!

We took her maternity portraits in Dallas at the cattle drive! It was an amazing location and perfect for her!

Sweet Brenna had to be delivered in Houston due to a heart issue they found at 20 weeks. Here is her story:

“Hi! My name is Shaina and I received the privilege from God to be Brenna’s Mom. You see I am 36 and finally a first time mom and not by choice. Brenna is actually my third child but the first that I have carried to term. I figured it wasn’t in the cards for me to have my own children and then after losing my own mom to cancer, I really didn’t think I wanted to be a mom without her here with me.”

“Then after 6 years of trying I finally got a positive pregnancy test! I was so excited and scared all at the same time! My feelings overwhelmed me and I wanted to do everything I could to save this child and hold him or her in my arms. Since I am older, my OB thought it would be a good idea for me to get an in-depth ultrasound at around 4 months, we already knew that we were having a girl at this point, but we just couldn’t decide on a name. After the ultrasound was done and we had been waiting for almost 2 hours for the doctor, he came back with news that made my whole body go numb.”

He said, “There is something wrong with your daughter’s heart, she has no right side.” ” My first thought was ok what do we need to do to fix it, my second thought was, was this my fault? Brenna has a heart defect called Hypoplaste Right Heart Syndrome and it’s very rare. The doctor’s didn’t know much about it and so they sent us to Texas Children’s hospital in Houston. My husband and I were devastated and spent that ride home just crying. The people at Texas Children’s in Houston are amazing and taught us that Brenna can have a great quality of life but it wouldn’t come without many obstacles. So we made a decision as a family to move to Houston a month before her due date. On the 28th of February I gave birth to the most precious and perfect baby in the world!”

“She had her first surgery at only 10 days old and spent the first two months of her life in and out of the hospital. She will have her second surgery at only 6 months. So in the meantime we are living in Houston and staying close by her doctors.”

“This definitely has not been the traditional route to becoming a first time Mom, especially without my mom here. I have had my days of crying and wondering why me? Why Brenna?”

“Then I realize how lucky I am..God chose ME and my husband to be her parents because he believes we have the strength to do so. He picked Brenna to go through this because she is strong and we will all give the glory to God about her amazing testimony! Hopefully this brings more people into God’s wonderful kingdom. I couldn’t have done any of this without the amazing support of my family and friends and all the amazing prayers they have prayed for Brenna. I am a proud momma of an amazing heart warrior! And I am so happy that Mary Ann was able to capture this wonderful pictures of her. God is so good!!”

Sweet Brenna finally made it to the Houston area for her newborn portraits at 3 months old! She has quite the personality. After some work, I got her to sleep and captured some of the most amazing portraits of this strong, beautiful baby girl. Here is her gallery!

I cannot say enough amazing things about MJ and her team! We just welcomed our precious daughter Ava in October. Since this was our first baby, we wanted to make sure that we captured this special time in our lives. The minute I initially spoke to MJ on the phone, I knew she was the perfect fit for what we were looking for in a photographer. She is so genuine and engaging and I can tell that this is her passion and you can clearly see that passion captured in our photos. The entire process from beginning to end was an absolute dream. Her and her MUA, Avesta, made the effort to make sure our pictures came out exactly how we wanted them. Not to mention MJ was so patient with us as we struggled to narrow down our choices for our maternity and our newborn sessions. I am not kidding when I say that was the HARDEST part. All of them were so amazing! Once we were able to narrow it down, her and her hubby made a special house visit to help get our pictures up on the wall. Like I said, an absolute dream! I started my business, MJ’s Photography, in 2014. My love for my daughter Emma Lyn, ignited my passion for photography. Sweet Matthew’s family drove a little over an hour for his newborn pictures. I’m always honored when I am chosen to capture a little one’s very first portraits, but when they travel to me it makes it even more special.

Matthew came in at 2 weeks old with big brother Benjamin who is almost 2 years old! Both parents are also Aggies, WHOOP, so of course we hit it off right away!

Big brother went first. We all know that 2 year old’s lead the show, so I wanted to give him time and space to see which setup best suited him. He was completely against laying down lol, so we put little brother in a bucket and waited! Aren’t they adorable?

Here is their family shot! A couple plays of peek a boo and Benjamin was all smiles!

I love the singles of moms and dads. It’s such a special picture. Sweet Matthew will look back onto these when he is older, it’s an important memory to have.

We dressed little Matthew up as a bear. There is something about a newborn baby in a bear hat that makes for the cutest picture. I’m obsessed.

Look at him in this bucket! He has the most perfect profile. This is just a standard pail. Isn’t it amazing how these sweet babies can fit in there? I love using these to show their true size.

And you guessed it…another bear hat! I can’t help it. Just look at him!

I love baby smiles, don’t we all? He gave the cutest grin and I’m so glad I captured it.

Oh the details. I love capturing all of their tiny details. Perfection, he is absolute perfection. Those toes!!!!

Awake shots. I love awake shots. Some photographers will stop shooting and work to get them back asleep, I say capture those eyes! Eye contact isn’t the best at this age, but if you work hard enough, you can get it! Look at how cute he is.

Meet baby Foster. Isn’t he perfect?

I love including neutral setups on the wood backdrop. They are perfect for displaying in any room.

And of course another variation. Sweet simplicity.

Every detail is important. From Foster’s tiny lips to his adorable toes, I want his Mommy and Daddy to remember every single one. I can’t pick a favorite.

Mom and dad told me they both graduated from Texas A&M University, so an Aggie setup was definitely used in his Newborn session. Aggie fan here Whoop! This might be my favorite.

Look at his little Aggie fan shirt! Initials and all.

They own their own business, so they requested a special setup for a unique ad. It was a first for me and I really enjoyed it!

Fulshear newborn photography – Jaxson

MJ’s Photography does Fulshear newborn photography. She is serving the Central Texas/Houston community for newborn and maternity portraiture.

I have an in home studio located in Katy Texas, near Fulshear Texas. It is a perfect little space for newborn portraits.

Look how perfect Jaxson looks in neutrals. My amazing husband found each board and built my floor drop for me.

Jaxson has a big sister and isn’t she gorgeous? I adore these sibling pictures of these two.

We all know my favorite pose is the potato sack pose. I mean….just look how adorable his profile is. So perfect in every way. And that little smirk! AAAHH

I just love when these sweet babies smile. It’s even better when it’s with mommy. Just look at how perfect Jaxson is with his mom.

Daddy was all smiles with his baby boy. I can see the resemblance.

This family one is so amazing and so real!

It’s all in the details. The toes, fingers, nose, and the lips. It’s all important to capture, they change so quickly. Soon those little lips will be talking, toes will be walking, and those little fingers will be grabbing.

Baby toes. I am obsessed with them. They deserve a huge spot because they are just adorable. Is there anyone who doesn’t love baby toes? His chunky toes are the best!

I love making a composite for every gallery. He looked so cute in this bear outfit, this composite fit perfectly!

He wasn’t the biggest fan of being naked, but we got this image and I am so glad! Those little back rolls are perfect in every way! (The only time in life they are ha ha!)
