This family is seriously magazine worthy. They just give me all the feels!
Look at these two? He is the sweetest big brother and I love this one of them two! It’s going to look amazing on their wall in my imported wood blocks!
Doing family portraits is so important! We all know how fast our babies grow and it’s so important to capture them with you. When they are grown, they will look back on these and smile.
My clients love displaying their wall art in different wall art options. From Wood blocks to metal prints, I will make your dream wall decor! This wood block collage is going to look so amazing on their walls.
Look at those smiles. So in love with this one.
Momma with her babies. We all know how often us moms get behind the camera and get that picture with our babies. Not…very…often. Let’s make that happen! To inquire click here
Look at this proud daddy with his baby girl.
Momma and her girl.
Momma’s boy! The way he is looking at her is everything.
I love capturing just mom and dad. Usually when I ask when the last time you got portraits as a couple they say….ummmm our wedding! Time to change that! Look how gorgeous these two are.
This is my favorite family portrait from their session!! I just love everything about it! Look at that sibling bond.
It is never to early to book. I am booking into February of 2020.
3.5 years…. 42 months…. roughly 1,260 days…. It took less time than many couples who are plagued with infertility to have a child, but we still felt every moment of that wait. After trying to conceive with IVF last spring and being told at 32 that my egg quality was similar to that of a woman ten years my senior, we immediately decided to pursue adoption.
We became active with our agency August 9, 2018, just four months after our failed transfer. In January 2019 we attempted to get licensed with a foster care agency because there was 5 year old girl we desperately wanted to adopt- Aubrey. I had dreams for months after our IVF transfer that had a little girl, about 5 years old, that was our daughter. When I saw Aubrey’s face in a news story searching for an adoptive home I immediately recognized it. It was her. The little girl in my dreams…. our daughter. Since the embryo we transferred was a female, I had always assumed the connection was my subconscious telling me she was okay and that it was okay for us to continue to pursue adoption. When I saw her face everything in my soul told me this was more than a coincidence. We put our names on hold with our agency and decided to pursue foster-to-adopt in the hopes that we could become Aubrey’s parents. I just KNEW that she was meant to be ours. She resembled me when I was little in addition to being identical to the girl in my dreams. Getting licensed through foster care takes months and by the time we were close to having everything completed, a home had been selected for Aubrey. We were heartbroken. We called our agency and asked to have our names put back on their list in March. She told us the previous two months had been a very busy time with the agency and that she had placed multiple children in that time frame. I remember being so frustrated with our detour and doubting our decision to take a two month hiatus.

On April 23 my husband and I were both at work and I got a call. I didn’t recognize the number and I was in a patient’s room so I did not answer. I finished up with my patient and went into the break room to check my voicemail. It was our agency asking me to call back ASAP. My heart was racing as I hit redial. She didn’t answer. I was so anxious that I could barely catch my breath when the number showed up on my caller ID again. I answered with my voice quivering as she told me about a “unique situation” she had and asked if we would be open to it. It wasn’t an infant, but it was a little boy that was 5 months old. She had already talked to my husband (which is why she didn’t answer the phone when I called) and he said he would rather her talk to me about it. To spare details I will say the adoption had some risk of us not being able to keep him.
It was a risk I was ready to take without hesitation.
My very logical husband wanted to discuss every angle and possibility, but ultimately said the decision was mine. I called the agency back and asked when we could pick him up. We drove 3.5 hours each way to pick him up the very next day and he has been our son since the moment we laid eyes on him. Legally we remained in a risk period until the end of August so the first four months we were on pins and needles waiting for a call that could potentially turn our wold upside down- either we would be able to keep him through the next legal step, or that we would have to return him to his birth family. We soaked up every moment we could with him.
When the end of August came and we finally finished the legal battles, there was an overwhelming sense of relief. In the state of Texas it’s required that a child live in your home for six months before you can finalize their adoption. October 24 marked six months and the judge ordered that he was officially our son on November 7, 2019. The wait was long and we doubted ourselves and our decisions at every turn, but ultimately we had to endure it all.
Every little turn, every detour, every time we felt we took one step forward and two steps back- it was all part of the journey to our son.
Our perfect baby boy who has his Papa’s grin and my innate ability to fall asleep 3 seconds into a car ride- just one different step or hesitation could have thrown us off our course to him. We are thankful for every second of this journey, thankful for every sign that the universe sent telling us to keep going and not doubt ourselves, and thankful for the love and support our family and friends have shown and continue to show for us and our son.
Most especially we are grateful to his birth momma, C, who put his needs before her own and made one of the most difficult decisions a mother can ever have to make. We cannot imagine life without this precious gift that she so selflessly gave us, and she will always have a place in our hearts!

Waiting for the Judge to come make us official!
It is TIME!!!
When they asked “Are you ready to be his mommy forever?” We all teared up. She didn’t hesitate and said YES!!!!

I had the honor of photographing the Forrestier family this past week. Tabitha is the owner of Annie Banannie Clothing. She made the girls dresses and the boys vests in this portrait. Go check her out!
This momma rocks being a mom of 6, homeschooling, and OWNING her own business! How incredible is that. Dad owns his own business as well!
Daddy and his babies.
Momma and her babies.
Fun fact: Annie Banannie is named after their oldest daughter…Annie! This dress is releasing this week…better run!!
Mom wanted a special portrait of just her and her girls. They are absolutely stunning during this Texas sunset.
Here are some more family favorites. I just love all of the candid portraits of them together. I am a huge black and white fan, these really speak to me in black and white!
All 6 of their gorgeous babies. They are so well mannered and extra sweet.
Of course we had to get some of them as a couple. Aren’t they perfect? I love getting images of just mom and dad. How often does this happen?

Cypress family photographer – You can’t possible see the beauty of this mountain through a portrait. I tried my best, but this scenery is jaw dropping.
The anxiety of getting this perfect portrait was over the top. Being flown over 2000 miles and knowing that they want a 30×45 acrylic print of this in their house, made me extremely anxious! But we got it! <3
We did two locations in front of Mt. Rainier, this was another. We only had around 3-4 minutes because there was a big group of landscape photographer behind us trying to photograph the sunset on Mt. Rainier.
Aren’t they perfect? Can’t imagine a better couple.
While waiting for the sun to be perfect for the mountain shots, we went into a valley to capture some other family portraits.
I can’t get over Carson’s face here! <3
Day 2 we did another session is a field. Just wait for these! I am so in love. Cypress family photographer
The smiles and the happiness you can feel from looking at their babies sweet faces, make this session everything. There will be a time when you can no longer hold them in your arms, swing them in the air, or kiss them all over. When that time comes, it will mean everything to look back at these portraits and feel the memories.
(Just typing that, I had to run to my babies and kiss them all over…go ahead and do it to yours) <3
Momma and her girl. My main goal on day 2 was to get an amazing portrait of mommy with each of her babies.
Now this one I am SO proud of. If you know Carson, you know he brings Wild to the nickname Wild child lol! He is so fun and full of energy, so getting him to snuggle for a picture is not on his agenda. So this one is everything! And isn’t momma gorgeous? Mannnnnn she looks good!
Momma with both of her kiddos! I love this one showing Kaleigh’s missing tooth!
Here are some more family favorites! Such sweet smiles.

Ashley has been one of my greatest friends since college. She has the most caring heart that anyone could imagine. She currently has 10 dogs. All rescues! She adopts the senior pups that get abandoned at the shelter. We also have to give Carter a round of a “paws”….he lets her do it and loves them just as much lol!
Meet Stanley. This day was Stanley’s last day on earth and it was a joyful one.
Ashley asked if I could photograph Stanley before he left earth side.
Stanley loves his Chick Fil A. So momma brought his favorite nuggets. He enjoyed them so much!
It was so wonderful celebrating his last day. There were lots of tears, but for a moment there was laughter. MJ-Fulshear pet photographer
Here was his momma’s post about his last day.
Last night my legs were cold for the first time in a long time. He always slept by them and the gaping hole in the bed reminded me he wasn’t there. He wasn’t a very big dog, but he had a big personality- I think that’s what took up so much space. I couldn’t have asked for a better last day with my boy though. He had Chick-fil-A for dinner on Monday and again for brunch yesterday (Chick-fil-A because he had standards about his chicken 😂), and Mary Ann took pictures. Then he slept and I napped with him. For dinner he had rotisserie chicken which has symbolically become the last meal in our home. We have done it with each that have gone before them, and the tradition will continue. When we take on frosty face, hospice type dogs, we know what we are taking on. We are taking on a ton of work repaid with endless love. If you ever see me buying a pre-made rotisserie chicken, please hug me. I don’t only get them during this time, but if I buy one when we aren’t saying goodbye to anyone it’s because I am missing them and I want to remember eating our last meal with them.
The day was so different from any of the others, and his passing was peaceful. Stanley has never been a cuddler, but he would absolutely love to lay next to me in bed. He loved that and eating, so that’s what we did. He was having major struggles between kidney disease, Cushings, and bad anxiety from losing his vision and hearing, but he wasn’t on his deathbed. I didn’t worry that he was suffering, but I knew that he would be soon and I didn’t want that for him. I wanted us to have our last day together on our terms, and without the added difficulty of him being in pain. I will never forget the first picture April sent me of him laying on a cold concrete floor in the Garland shelter. My heart broke and I said “pull him and I’ll take him.” I will never forget the first time I held him after his journey with Lori brought him to me. I’ll always remember the first night he spent in our home stretched out with his belly in the air just completely comfortable. He knew he was home even before we did. At that time, I paid for all of his vet bills and told Carter the rescue was paying for them 😂. Then I fell in love with him and Carter and I decided he should stay. I will always remember his sassy self and his little gimpy trot that never slowed him down for meals. I’ll always remember how during the height of his Cushings he would wake me up at 4am every single morning for breakfast by body slamming himself into my face. He was my little JFP and we had a special bond-that bond that only a mother could continue to put up with him for all these years. I feel so incredibly honored to have been his Momma for the last 5 years of his life, and I am so grateful that we had the ability to help him pass peacefully.
Run free my sweet Stanley aka Manny aka Manny Potts aka Manner aka JFP. I’ll see you at the #rainbowbridge one day 🌈”

I love capturing families. How else will you remember exactly how your family was in this point and time? Your little one’s will have little memory of their younger age and this is the way to remember it all.
Family portraits are so special. When your kids are all grown up, these are the portraits they will look back on. These portraits will then turn into memories.
I was so glad when I was contacted to capture Laura’s family. They have one year old boy and girl twins! I have an obsession with capturing twins.
These sweet babies were just learning to walk. I adore this stage.
Look how gorgeous Abby is. This portrait really captured her eyes!
And this sweet boy. He was so smiley for every picture! I just love his little teeth.
I adore images where little ones are just being themselves. Where they are just giggling with mom and dad and creating that perfect memory. This is my favorite family portrait image from their session. They will look back on this portrait and feel the great memory. I am obsessed!

Here they are!
Photographing twins is such a blessing. I’ve always been fascinated with twins! Getting to see and hold two babies is such an amazing experience.
I told mom that there is always one that likes to be a little harder than the other. She said she knew which one that would be. I figured it out pretty quickly! Let’s see if you can see which one it is.
Introducing Miss. Spencer(on top) and Miss. Emerson(on bottom). Aren’t they gorgeous? Spencer was born first and is a little bit smaller than Emerson.
Here is Emerson. She is twin B. She didn’t even open her eyes during the entire session. Until family photos…that is a story that dad will continue to tell I believe lol!
Miss Spencer is twin A. She has quite the personality for only being a couple weeks old! Just look at that face. I can’t even handle her!
I love this pose. All cuddled up to each other. I love Spencer’s foot just hanging out.
Oh the potato sack pose. My favorite. I just love them sitting up next to each other. Here are their single shots as well!
Mommy brought in the sweetest wraps with scriptures. Added in a Lucky Crickets headband and it was perfect!
This bucket pose is a favorite! What other time in your baby’s lives can they BOTH fit into a tiny bucket? Only this time!
Mommy brought some tutus for her girls.
First professional family portrait. Aren’t they perfect?
It’s so hard to believe that both of those girls were in mommy’s tummy just a couple weeks ago! Isn’t she gorgeous?
